Tumblr has made me pay attention to little details and analyzing way too much into stuff

Watching Tangled

-Rapunzel is physically lifting Mother Gothel up into the tower showing their relationship of how Gothel doesn’t care she just wants to be younger and Rapunzel is the one trying to create a relationship and doing all the hard work

-Flynn later climbs the tower without her hair but an arrow (usually shows a person a direction or a certain perspective), sneaking in where he’s not allowed and is not wanted at first

-Then of course Rapunzel flys down the tower using her hair, she is still tied to the tower but is free to explore the world. And Flynn has to climb down with the arrows urging her to come down, still not trustworthy but is helping her escape

-Gothel then uses a concealed door that represents all the secrets that she kept from Rapunzel that would have let her out to the world. Secrets that are revealed later like the door is to the audience

-And then at the end when Flynn thinks Rapunzel throws her hair down he climbs it where he wants to be to save her, and his commitment to her that he would do anything for her

I wish there had been one last image of the two of them like finding the secret entrence and leaving together or finding a way to climb down the tower as a way to show their newfound love but I think that might’ve been overkill

This is all based off the tower because it is Rapunzel’s home and prison, it is the metaphor or something (I can never get that part right) because there are many times Rapunzel uses her hair outside of the tower and in the world but it’s mostly used in excitement or protection. And then of course the cutting of the hair at the end is has a lot of stuff

So yeah that went really long but I love this movie and it has been so long since I’ve seen it!!

I feel so weird because for a second I was like ‘wow that’s an impressive drawi…..OMG WAIT WHAT IS HE DOING TO LOKI??? CAN’T UNSEE!!’
